Attraktive Pistole aus dem Hause AW Custom, einem der führenden Airsoft Pistolen Hersteller auf dem Markt. AW Custom steht für hochwertige, performance starke Pistolen die Maßstäbe in Präzision, Zuverlässigkeit, Qualität, Verarbeitung und individuellem Look setzen. Wie bei der KP-13 von KJ Works oder der GP1799 von Wei-ETech, handelt es sich bei der VX Pistolenserie um sogenannte Hybrid Pistolen. Diese Airsoftpistolen basieren im Grunddesign auf scharfen Original Pistolen, sind aber komplett customized und daher nicht mehr direkt vergleichbar mit der ursprünglichen Vorlage.

Bereits von vielen anderen Softair Pistolen aus dem Hause AW Custom bekannt, setzt auch die VX9201 / VX9 Mod.2 auf ein Griffstück aus leichtem hochwertigen Polymer Verbundkunststoff. Dieses Material ist sehr stabil und reduziert gleichzeitig das Gesamtgewicht der Pistole, wodurch die Führigkeit erhöht wird. Wiederrum aus Metall gefertigt ist der komplette Schlitten und auch sehr viele äußere Beschlagteile, wie z. B. Sicherung, Abzug, Hammer, Außenlauf, Verschlussfanghebel, ... sowie fast alle weiteren Teile im Innern der Softair Pistole.
Das passgenau verarbeitete Gas Blow Back Modell besitzt eine sehr hohe Schusseffizienz. Aufgrund der mittlerweile langjährigen Erfahrung von AW Custom in Bezug auf GBB Airsoftnachbauten, ist diese Softair Pistole mit einem sehr starken GBB System ausgestattet, welches für ein beeindruckendes Schussgefühl und einen sehr ultrascharfen starken Rückstoß sorgt.

Sämtliche Funktionen sind wie bei Original Pistolen funktionsfähig. So erfolgt die Demontage des Schlittens über den mittig angebrachten Demontagehebel und auch der Schlittenfang sowie die integrierte Abzugsicherung sind authentisch in ihrer Funktionsweise. Hier kommt ihr dann auch an das HopUp System der Softair Pistole.

Auf dem Schlitten ist die Standard U-Kimme und das typische passende Balkenkorn verbaut. Beide haben deutliche weiße Markierungen was das zielen erleichtert. Hier ist AW Custom auch recht erfindungsreich, da der Aussenlauf ein Gewinde für Schalldämpferattrappen aufweist. Ein 11 mm CW auf 14 mm CCW Adapter müsste her, damit die Standard Schallis passen. Eine sehr schöne Alternative sind die Mini Tracer, die kommen mit einem 11 mm CW Gewinde (und 14 mm Adapter) und passen ausgezeichnet. Da hat man gleich eine Schalldämpferattrappe und Tracer in einem.

Die Pistole kann optional auch mit CO2 betrieben werden. Hierfür wird ein CO2-Magazin (VX Magazine von AW Custom oä.) benötigt.
